What is ceramic window tint?
Ceramic film uses fine ceramic particles to turn away infrared heat without any metal in the film, so it never interferes with signals.
Shade and heat are two separate choices: even a light, Minnesota-legal 50% ceramic film still turns away a lot of infrared heat.

Tint law
How dark can you tint in Minnesota?
Minnesota generally requires the glass and film together to let at least 50% of light through (with 3% allowed either way). For SUVs and trucks, windows behind the driver and front passenger doors can have any tint percentage.
